| We are very pleased to feature Amy Kruschke |
| Amy, a native of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, has enjoyed art since about the age of ten. Her first medium was graphite pencil of flowers, animals and children. Though Amy has never had formal art training, she continues to develop her skills. Amy does commissioned pieces and shows at art and craft fairs. Amy has competed in many art competitions, at both the amateur and professional level. Amy has been awarded dozens of blue ribbons for her artwork. Amy competed in the Edina Art Center in the spring of 2010. Six of her pastel bird pieces were chosen to shown. Today, Amy's choice of medium is pastels. Soft pastel painting has been her passion for about four years. Amy loves to bring her subjects to life in her work. While doing a few portraits of people, her primary work to date consist of animals, birds, flowers, and nature. Amy also has done a few modern art color pages in graphite pencil for children of all ages. Amy hopes to keep bringing people some happiness through her artwork. |
